Color of Sound’s first short film highlights the epidemic of the chronically under touched.
This epidemic arises out of systemic white supremacy and racial stereotypes assigned, in particular, to black men.
​
Our plan:
First, we plan to submit this documentary to film festivals.
Then, we will use it to raise awareness and raise money to create a full-length documentary film.

Aaron Johnson, our board member, is the creator of the CUT Project - The Chronically UnderTouched (CUT) Project is based on the development and tracking of the chronically under-touched trauma story.
It’s a movement supporting People of the Global Majority — people of color — to access healthy, nourishing, platonic touch in a culture that denies it at every turn.
Touch means seeing people as full human beings. Healthy, nourishing, platonic touch is the antidote to the invention of The Black Brute archetype.

The CUT Project is also touring, training touch activists, offering an art installation on tour, and incorporating earth building/
